McAfee LiveSafe - 12 months / Unlimited personal devices

McAfee LiveSafe: security suite for all personal devices

McAfee LiveSafe is a McAfee security suite that combines antivirus, web protection, a password manager, parental controls and identity protection in one subscription. It applies to an unlimited number of personal devices running Windows, macOS, Android and iOS. This makes LiveSafe suitable for households in which PCs, Macs, smartphones and tablets are to be protected with the same subscription. This offer has a term of 12 months.

Antivirus and safe browsing

Antivirus protection is aimed at viruses, online threats and ransomware, both with an active internet connection and offline. McAfee WebAdvisor warns about risky websites, links and files while browsing, shopping and banking online. The Vulnerability Scanner detects outdated Windows and program versions and installs the missing updates in one go, so that known security vulnerabilities do not remain open. Shredder permanently deletes confidential files, and QuickClean removes cookies, temporary files and other unneeded data.

Passwords, family and identity

The Password Manager stores login details, fills them in automatically and, if required, generates unique passwords for each account. With McAfee Safe Family, parents specify which content their children can see online. Identity Monitoring monitors email addresses on the dark web and reports when they appear there. Secure VPN encrypts the connection with 256-bit AES, for example on public Wi-Fi networks. According to McAfee, the VPN and extended identity monitoring are only available when automatic renewal is activated.

On Windows, there are also tools for system performance: PC Optimizer adapts the computer to the task currently running, App Boost gives resource-intensive applications more computing power, and Web Boost pauses automatically playing videos to save battery and bandwidth. Which features are available depends on the operating system. Some Windows features are not available on the Mac.
