No. The license for the Windows Server as well as any required Windows Server CALs are not included in the VDI Suite.
What information is needed for provisioning?
The Product ID of the activated RD license server is required. It should not be confused with a Windows product key. The activation data for your order will be provided from this.
Is Windows Server 2008 (R2) VDI Suite a regular RDS Device CAL?
No. Windows Server 2008 (R2) VDI Suite is intended for access to VM-based VDI desktops. A regular RDS Device CAL, on the other hand, licenses a device for access to session-based desktops or RemoteApps of an RD Session Host.
